Back again from the beautiful Hawaiian island of Kauai. This year was not as long a stay as my previous trip but it was an excellent trip none the less. See pictures of my adventures in Kauai here:

As for this trip it was all about exploring and adventure. Here are some of the top recommendations.
Hawaii is known for its pristine waters, beautiful scenery and amazing culture. Take a dip in the ocean, soak up the breathtaking scenery on a refreshing hike or relax, do a little shopping and have a nice Hawaiian sunset dinner.
Here are a few ideas to help add to your Hawaiian adventures:
-Sightseeing: beaches, waterfalls, hikes, gardens, helicopter rides, island tours, shorelines, wild life you name it Kauai
-Kayaking: take a day to sit back and relax as you mosey down a stream and soak up the sun and the beautiful scenery. Kayak over to Hanalei bay for some breath taking sights and crystal clear water.
-Sailing: Take in Hawaiis beautiful coastline with a day out sailing.
-Snorkeling/Diving: the reefs surrounding Kauai protect amazing sea life
-Surfing: those same reefs produce some of the best surfing in all of Hawaii
-Windsurfing: the best of Kauai’s two natural resources – waves and wind
-Biking: the Kauai mountains make for some spectacular mountain biking, take a day and hit the trails. Many options available such as guided tours and adventure packages.
-Wildlife Viewing: Kauai has some amazing and undisturbed nature preserves. Take a drive through the stunning Waimea canyon state park or hike the trails at Alaka'i wilderness preserve.
-Hiking: if you don’t want to bike the Kauai mountains, hike them! There are many guided tours around the island and many of them also include features such as waterfalls, zip lines and scenic destinations.
-Horseback Riding: Perhaps the best way to see the island and its many beaches, Kauai has many providers of horseback tours and private rides available.
