Destination Japan

So, I have decided that after I get back from my travels to Hawaii I am going to start planning a trip to Japan. I know that the average cost of a package tour through a Japanese travel agency is $3310 for one round trip ticket from L.A. Now thats a good chunk of change. So given my circumstances its going to be a little tough to scrounge up $3500 + an extra $1,000 in spending money. So how am I going to do it. I plan on doing many things. Japan is a destination that I truly want to visit. It has been a dream of mine for so very long now. The cost does not out weigh the journey. So back to the question of how...by all means necessary. That method is the same way I am traveling to Hawaii and the same method I have used to travel everywhere else. In the following posts I will talk about simple techniques I use to get to my goal of $4,500. This is the largest goal I am aiming at for a single trip so I am going to have to use many income stream methods and budgeting techniques. I have learned that all challenges that come our way are just a matter of perspective and that if you want something bad enough and you focus on productive methods of attaining that goal then nothing is impossible. :)

Down and out

So I'm sure you have noticed a drop in posting lately. Sorry. I've been in the slums for the past few weeks, for starts my wallet and phone was stolen. Then my computer died. Then my car broke down. The cherry on top, I then lost my job. The company downsized. I was let go. boo hoo No thoughts of travel here. Just the slums. Then I was surfing around and came across some motivational sites where I discovered this.

I have to say that I am not really feelin that bad now. I just got a little side tracked and will be back to planning my Hawaii trip and finding ways to finance it. Of course, I will post all those ways here to help my fellow travelers out :) I'll be back to posting here soon. For now, much love and keep your dreams of travel alive.
